Since we're revolutionizing... I thought I'd post something very near & dear to my heart: NOG screening this Friday- who's coming?

I organized this event after much prompting from my burner friends who wanted to see my work & am going to great ends to make it an enjoyable evening for everyone. - Including DJ/sound equipment favors to get our dance on afterward. Some of the cast & crew will be present for my family (you) to meet, but these folks have already seen the finished product years ago at other screenings.

The point is: this is for YOU to share in another world - before there was a "maemae"... When I was still (quite substantially) simply "mae".

Event details are posted both here on Tribe & on FB. This Friday 10/30, doors open @ 8:00. Screening starts @ 9:00. $15 gets you in... Plus refreshments, swag, and DJ action after the presentation. We plan to go until 2:00 but knowing us, it'll go til it goes... :)

I know it's the night before Halloween & all... But that makes it perfect timing - since "Nog" is a character-study surrounding the holidays.

Prior to the feature, we'll also showcase my short film "Ruminating Nietzche" along with our hostess Tiger Moon's short "Window Pain". There will be a very brief intermission between the shorts & the feature presentation which is 90 minutes runtime.

If that isn't enough... Merchandise will be on display for sale - Copies of my book "Existentialist Thoughts on Going Mad" along with Tiger's CD "Lyric". They actually go well together - collect the whole set!

This in an attempt to show off some unknown talent, to bridge 2 amazingly gifted worlds & for once, to try and score some dough from seriously hard-earned art - all of which would be nice.

Staples of the Staples, you are my chosen family. And in true family fashion, I'm playing the guilt card here - cuz it was from you that this idea got born for this event. I assure you that you won't regret the commitment to attend - Not only can I throw a very decent event myself having booked venues like KingKing & Spiderclub successfully, but I wrote & directed some interesting stuff. Come see for yourself...
