Time to start planning out projects, sewing work days, going through dusty boxes.. and pull it all together!

Tue, June 9, 2009 - 2:39 PMi know it... the anticipation gets me through many a day. i've got most of my "things to get for BM" list acquired & am getting ready this week for a mock set-up in the front yard. my approach, as always, is: simple, portable & fabulous.
now, what to wear...? the girls & i are working on that... finding truly amazing costume stuff on etsi.com then figuring out how we can make it ourselves.
soon let's publish our camp placement schedule on tribe... and organize a staples picnic. -call me old-fashioned, but i still love tradition & will never stop loving my staples family.

Anyone know where they will be camping yet?
We were going to camp with Lightning Temple at Red Lightning but the cost is too prohibitive. We were thinking of grabbing some land in the public area just behind them. -

We are aiming for somewhere on the 3 o'clock side. Near enough to the potties, but not too close.
Close to dancing sites, without a stack of speakers next to our heads.

Fri, July 3, 2009 - 4:16 PMSo....Looks like I might be going to BM after all this year....Not 100% yet - still coordinating with my girl's schedule / Mattel so jury's still out, but it's more of a possibility than it was a couple of months ago...Asked for the time off, and am currently searching for two cheaper tix. If anyone has a line on possibilities for those, let me know and I would be most appreciative...
Currently planning to be near the 3 o'clock keyhole.being near or in with Random and Unnecessary Camp. Currently practicing a fire sword / staff routine and will be inside the circle with Fire Enclave night of the burn. Not sure of the full particulars, but...I'd love to be near / with / on-top-of my loving Staples if possible...

Hey Christian (or anyone who might know...) - how do you secure the evap pond to the playa? Do you have to drill holes in the 2x4's to put the rebar thru or is there another trick?
