Okay, so I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't be going to the Burn... I'm walking again! That's good enough for me!!! On the other hand, it's harder for me to reconcile my biggest disappointment regarding having to miss. My best friend in the whole world is coming to the Playa this year for her virgin Burn and I won't be there to see the smile on her face, give her the biggest hug ever and tell her "Welcome Home!"

SO HERE'S THE FAVOR I'D LIKE TO ASK: What I would dearly like to arrange, since I can't be there to do it myself, is to have as many friends as I can possibly recruit, go to her camp, alone or in smallish groups, hopefully at different times throughout the week, and give her that giant hug and tell her "Welcome Home!" for me. If she's not there, maybe you can hug one or her campmates so they can pass it on to her (just tell them not to spill the beans that there will be more hugs coming her way :) )

IF YOU CAN HELP: she is Rachelle, she's from Austin, TX and she's camping with Lava Lounge, who are the bar that is next to, and there for The Temple Builders (that's right, the ones who build "The Temple"), located at 2:00 and Jurassic. She's scheduled to arrive by noonish on Monday 8/31, which is probably a pretty reliable eta, since she's flying in to Reno the day before.
